Tier 1 is proud to offer the
Kealan Ossum Scholarship fund
Tier 1 Energy Solutions is dedicated to developing the next generation of community leaders, providing a skilled workforce for our industry, and is committed to post-secondary education.
Tier 1 will be offering five $1500.00 scholarships in total each year to eligible selected applicants.
Internal Scholarship
OVERVIEW
Applicant criteria
Must be a Canadian or US Citizen, Permanent Resident or Protected person (visa students are not eligible).
Must be a current employee or a dependent of a current employee.
Be currently enrolled full-time in a publicly funded post-secondary institution in a field of study supporting the oil and gas industry, including but not limited to: engineering technology, procurement, finance, HR.
Have maintained a 3.0 grade point average (GPA) out of 4, if in the second or more year of the program.
Must provide a personal reference.
Must provide a written essay.
Must be 25 years of age or younger.
External Scholarship

Gain access to the application form.
2. Write your essay
Provide an essay as to why you have chosen your career path.
Maximum 1000 words.
3. Gather references
Provide a letter or recommendation from a community member e/g. employer, mentor.
4. Fill ouT application
Complete your application by filling all fields and uploading all required documents:
- School Transcripts.
- Recommendation Letter(s) (2 files).
- Personal Essay: This can be an uploaded document or a text section.
- Protected Person or Refugee: Notice of Decision, or Verification of Status Document.
