CODE OF BUSINESS CONDUCT & ETHICS

From its inception in 2013, Tier 1 has been known for its commitment to responsible and ethical business conduct.

The Code of Business Conduct and Ethics has been adopted by the Board of Tier 1 to formalize our expectations of how we expect all of our stakeholders, including employees, executives and directors, to act in the conduct of business on behalf of Tier 1.  It represents an evolution and growth in expectations based on the solid foundation of our Mission and Core Values.

Our PATHWAY TO NET ZERO

Addressing climate change and the GHG emissions that contribute to it requires long-term commitment and strategies. Tier 1 is committed to adopting effective and achievable measures to meeting its GHG reduction goals and objectives.

It is important to stress GHG reduction is not singularly a technological challenge. GHG reductions and environmental progress is a collaborative effort that requires technological investment and customer acceptance to work together.

As an industry leader, Tier 1 believes it has an important role to play in this effort through its ongoing focus on broader utilization of its proprietary technology, the continual evolution of environmentally responsible behaviour including GHG reduction business strategies that have been one of our founding core values.

Tier 1 is proud to have achieved a Silver rating as a result of our first formal ESG audit.  We thrive in our culture of continuous improvement and look forward to working on all aspects related to ESG within our organization.

Our currently active Tier 1 Green initiatives, and commercial innovations, combine to target an annual emissions reduction of 343 metric tons and eliminate the use over 36,400 liters of fresh water in the operations Tier 1 is involved in.

All employees are empowered directly by the president of Tier 1 to stop any task at hand and exercise their right and their responsibility to prevent an incident.
